Connecting the People

A central part of my work is building impactful national and global networks with key stakeholders across philanthropy, politics, education, business, and civil society.

This is reflected in my active involvement in several leadership and policy networks, such as the Young People’s Climate and Nature Group under the Finnish Prime Minister’s Office and the Global Shapers Helsinki Hub.

I work to transform food sector practices and shift public perception toward plant-based solutions that cut food-related emissions by up to 50%. At the institutional scale, this makes everyday meals one of the most powerful climate levers available.

Youth Climate and Nature Policy Advocate

I'm a member of the Young People’s Climate Change and Nature Group (NUOLI) under the Finnish Prime Minister’s Office for the 2025–2027 term. The group was established to bring new and emerging perspectives into decision-making and to strengthen youth participation in climate and nature policy.

Through NUOLI, we help ensure that young people’s views are represented in ministries and high-level political discussions, whether with the Prime Minister or representatives across the political spectrum.

NGO Founder and Director

I founded Viral Vegans in 2022 and have helped grow it into one of Finland’s leading organizations advancing food system sustainability. As Executive Director, I lead a team working to accelerate the transition toward a more responsible food system in Finland.

Our work combines media influence, sustainability education for young people, and institutional advocacy to advance plant-based solutions.

Viral Vegans' goal is to develop scalable models that can drive broader shift across the Nordics and internationally.
